La Bastide presents an interesting blend of comfort and practicality, striking a decent balance between cost and luxury. Its location is excellent—just a five-minute stroll to the beach, with hill walks awaiting right outside the door. The bus stop is conveniently located to take you to the train station for Toulon, enhancing accessibility. Our studio was clean and offered a nice view over the rooftops towards the wooded hills. While the kitchenette is small, it’s adequately equipped for two, making it easy to prepare light meals. Don't expect gourmet cooking though; with multiple restaurants nearby, dining out is a viable option. The seasonal outdoor pool is a good spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Helpful staff provided us with insightful recommendations, enhancing our stay. For those looking to enjoy a bit of luxury without breaking the bank, La Bastide is a sensible choice, offering the essential comforts and a genuine, welcoming atmosphere for travelers.
